Our dearest Liz decided she wanted to make art for our February candle club. She and I were discussing how Valentines day feels as much if not more these days - about the folks who aren’t in the kind of conventional committed relationship that this Hallmark holiday was built around, and that our spell should be about self- love, thus “Shower Thoughts” was born.
Liz and I pulled a few cards for direction and form the Rider Waite deck we got the five of cups. The Five of cups tells us to turn around and focus on something new. To leave the past in the past and move towards the future.
From my plant tarot we drew the Camellia Card, a symbol of a hidden romance. I took this as a reminder that ultimately we are our own best lovers. And reminds me to enjoy my imagination, I know for me, this is where my best romances exist!
From the animal tarot Liz pulled the Opossum card. The Opossum is a kind of non action card. Possum energy reminds us that the universe is working for us already and not to overlook the wonders that are already there just under the surface.
