My December Solstice candle is Chama. A collaboration with Camila, the founder of Dengo Botanica.

Chama in Portugese translates to “Fire” or “Call” and we have designed a spell for you to call on your inner flame to keep burning through the long cold winter.  🌟

Camila is Brazilian and her skin care line is designed with oils and botanicals predominantly from Brazil. We have talked for years of collaborating and when we decided to do a Solstice Candle, Camila pointed out that as we are celebrating Winter Solstice in NY , our friends in the Southern Hemisphere are celebrating the coming of Summer. 

Our featured artist this month is Valentina Gallup. Valentina keeps a flame going in every project and designed the original art for Chama, a botanical painting, that creates a never ending circle built from the aromatherapy elements of the candle with our shared sun as the center. 

Chama’s Spell is a blend of Northern Winter, and Southern summer essential oils to symbolize harmony and creating community wherever you are. A love Yin Yang of Peace, Strength & Connection.

Chama incantation: On this Gemini Full Moon we infused these candles with the Power of Chama! Let them carry our message of fire strength and bless all its burners and beyond to keep their inner flame alight all winter.
